Essence Of Cool is the fanlisting for the character Seamus Zelazny Harper, portrayed by Gordon Michael Woolvett, on Gene Roddenberry's creation Andromeda.
   It was approved and built in June, 2005.

   Even as much as I love Beka, I think I might like Harper just a little but more. He is so funny and even though he seems like a Nympho, he's not sexist. He's aware that he's brilliant but not stuck up. Plus, how funny is it that he can't keep from hugging Tyr constantly?

   The name is kind of an inside joke with my household. Even my sister, who can't tell one space show from another, knows that Harper is wicked. And has said it on numerous occasions when she saw we were watching a Sci-Fi show (BSG, SG-1, ect) not knowing which one Harper's on. So "Harper's cool!" is kind of an expression any of us say when the other is watching Space (the Canadian science fiction channel) now.
   Did you need to know all of that? No. Did I have fun telling it? Yes.
